How do you play 53o Under The Gun?
You've rigged a computer up or you've paid a visit to a computer shop to buy a PC. You've sorted the cables out. Got your graphics cards, plugged in your modem etc.. sorted. You've learnt the gist of the internet, you've surfed to party poker and downloaded the software and you are clued up to know how to install it.
You have a bank account, credit card, PC. You are not a 'tard. You fancy a game of poker and you've entered your details into Party and deposited your 50 bucks. So after all that, Why the [censored] are you playing 53o under the gun? Where did that piece of wisdom come from? Which part of your brain decided this is good stuff, bring it on! Yeah yeah yeah, it was a party S&G and I got busted level 1 but it makes you think doesn't it? This was a limp, then called a reraise. But what's going through the brain here?

Your mistake was to play it too furtively. If you're going to bully people into paying you off with hands like this, you've got to create the appropriate climate of fear and awe.
Before you bet, go into the chat box. Type these three sentences: I am about to limp with 53o Call me if you dare Your chips will be mine Then bet. This should produce much better results. The flop/turn should play itself. Once this move gets tiresome, type the same three magic sentences but open with a 10xBB raise. You're at the outer edges of Poker Madness then, but we'll welcome your report back to civilization.

Come on, dood. He clearly knew exactly what hand you were holding and had implied odds up the ying yang. He didn't even have to think about being a 5.5/1 dog because he knew he'd stack you if he hit.

[/ QUOTE ] I wasn't going to post about the beat. It was to stop the obligatory "you got sucked out on..." post. The post was actually meant to be about the mind of a fish. Do they get that much pleasure from the suckout that the other 20-30 times that it doens't work doesn't matter?
