Re: Firepay = Dickheads
[ QUOTE ]
Firepay = Dickheads [/ QUOTE ] Apparently people like you are the reason why they have to be. I seriously doubt that $25 even begins to compensate FirePay for all the trouble you caused them. Not to mention the inconvenience to Chase. Yet you seem to think you are the victim here because they choose to forgive other customers who make a completely different mistake. How is that relevant? All they did is exactly what they said they would do. It's printed very prominently on the deposit page of their web site. |

Re: Firepay = Dickheads
[ QUOTE ]
In their deposit window they used to have a notice that said, "It is impossible to benefit from a fraudulent EFT." I, obviously, assumed that meant they check your checking account balance for adequate funds before putting money into your firepay account. Of course they are a bunch of liars and don't do that. [/ QUOTE ] Please tell me that English is not your native tongue . I suppose you didn't bother to read the rest of the paragraph where they clearly explained this means FirePay "merchants" won't let you cash out until the deposit clears. |

[/ QUOTE ] There was no paragraph. It was a line of text directly below the area where you type in the amount you wish to deposit. This happened three years ago. If you are so keen on bashing my reading comprehension, perhaps you should look up the definition of 'impossible.' What prevented me from dumping $500 to my buddy? |

Re: Firepay = Dickheads
Yes, they wait for your deposit to clear before the poker or casino site lets you cash out. Yes, you can move money around quickly using Firepay, just not on IGM sites because they won't let you cash out to Firepay.

Re: Firepay = Dickheads
[ QUOTE ]
tony youre wrong on basically every count here, are you trying to trick amazon out of the money they are asking for? do you realize how that might not be a good idea, or that you are wrong and shouldnt have done business with a system that is as easily cheated as you say it is? [/ QUOTE ] I will admit I was absolutely wrong for doing business with Amazon. They treat their customers like gold but their affiliate sellers like [censored]. Obviously it is my fault that I did not notify Firepay right away that the account was closing. Had I realized there was an outstanding charge from them , I would have. The only thing that pisses me off is that they are willing to waive the fee for certain customer errors, but not others, in which the result is the same. A failed eCheck because of a non-existent account results in the same procedure by whoever Firepay's check processor is as a failed eCheck because of a closed account. I am only stating that I think Firepay should be consistent, and in addition that it was dickish to even mention to me that I could have been refunded if XXXX, but since YYYY I can't. I am not posting this here because I think I've done nothing wrong. I'm perfectly capable of owning up to my mistakes. I am also not looking for sympathy. I am posting this here because I feel Firepay's policy in this matter is hypocritical and thing others deserve to be informed about it. |

Re: Firepay = Dickheads
Are you realizing that your mistake looks a lot like fraud attempt to them and they have to protect themselves?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't have experience with Neteller to compare against. I have always been made to wait for a few days after a FirePay deposit before cashing out, even if the money was deposited in FirePay from another poker site. |
