Simple un-interesting hand..yet I dont really know...
Sorry for this un-interesting hand. This should be simple.
Pokerstars 2-4. Game is pretty tight except one player. That player is the SB. He is super loose, super passive. Somthing along the lines of 75% vpip, hasnt raised once, check-calls all the way if he has any hand at all, even bottom pair. He never bets, even with hands as good as TPTK. He has caught an Ace twice on the river after check-calling the whole way with Ax-no draw. He also folds alot on the river so I dont know if he will accually call the river with ace high. Anyways... Folded to the SB who limps. I'm in the BB and raise with 99. He calls Flop comes QJ7 with 2 clubs He checks, I bet, call Turn comes an offsuite 2 check, bet, call River is an offsuite 5 he checks, do I check behind or bet given the info I have?? |

Bet it. He'll call with any 7,2 or 5 + any lower pocket pair and will never raise unless you're definitely behind. My math says he'll call with plenty more hands that you beat than you lose to. Sort of the definition of a solid value bet.
