Default $6.50 PS Turbo - Do I push my big stack here?

Shortie was a maniac, i doubled my AA through his A8 on a J55 flop after he did the same to KK w/ 67. I thought it was about a 50/50 that the raiser would call, so i guess no particular read.

I probably wouldn't with 88. If you get called then chances are you are a dog to win it(and this will let the original raiser become chip leader). If you don't then you are probably a 50:50 chance to get an extra 800, which won't make much difference to you.
