Default Maximizing with the nut flush

100 on PS. Midway through- table image should be TAG. UTG seems pretty straightfoward, bit on the passive side i think.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (8 handed) converter

UTG (t2425)
Hero (t4452)
MP1 (t2220)
MP2 (t1080)
CO (t2025)
Button (t6625)
SB (t4860)
BB (t5235)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t100, Hero raises to t400, 4 folds, SB calls t350, 1 fold, UTG calls t300.

Flop: (t1300) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets t600, Hero calls t600, SB folds.

Turn: (t2500) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets t1500. (puts him all in.)

Default Re: Maximizing with the nut flush

Slowplaying the nutflush is almost always safe. The only hand he could have that can beat you with one card is a set or a twopair, and twopair seems very unlikely here. Besides, he would hardly check with those hands on a dangerous board.

So I would check behind him, which will make it almost impossible for him to read you. You could have 2 high cards, a K, a medium PP, and he might vert well take a stab at the pot after the river which you obviously will raise.

Further, if he does check the river and you put him all-in, it will look like a bluff and you might get called by a medium pair or even AQ.
