I don't let those A rag hands see the turn for one SB here... I also get the luxory of knowing the shape of my kicker when he either calls or raises.. making the turn easier to play

I think this is a spot where you must raise the flop.

1.) You are in a fairly large pot with what is probably the best hand.
2.) The LAG SB will 3-bet you with a range of hands that are worse than yours.
3.) An overcall by anyone else on the flop gives you a good indication your hand is no good.

In your spot I call down although I am not happy about it.

Call down. I like your flop/turn plan. Raising the flop just bloats the pot - better to raise a turn blank like you did.

So you raise the flop, and fold the turn if he 3bets? On the flop there is a much larger range of hands for him to 3bet me with. Namely flush draws. My thinking was to wait for a non-diamond on the turn and then raise. I don't think many cards can hurt me here, and seeing as I am getting twice as much from my opponents by charging them all a double bet, it seems like the way to go. I really like my call on the flop. If I do raise the flop and get 3bet I may save some money on the turn by not raising. However the times that I am ahead here, I will be losing a great deal here because I am not going to get a double bet in on the turn.

perfect.. dont listen to people telling you to raise the flop... you are in perfect position to have SB leadout again on the turn and get multiple people trapped for another bet on the turn.
also call down.
