Default Winner take all tournaments

My favorite cardroom is changing from a $25 + $10 unlimited rebuys tourney to a 35 + 3 rake tourney that pays out $5 bounties and is winner take all. It does not go in effect for 2 weeks and I think the structure is horrible. I've talked to 5 or 6 people that said they will find another place to play instead, and I was wondering what the consensus here would be.

The tournament is 35+3, 5 dollar bounty, 20 minute rounds.
I think the rounds go 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 400/800, 500/1000, 1000/2000, 2000/4000, 4000/8000... etc. It is 30 players, winner takes all, deals are allowed. If a player plays in 2 or more weeks in a row he gets an extra 50 chips per extra week with a 5 week max of 1200.

Deadwood is not a big place and there is already a Monday winner takes all tourney that is 40+4 buyin (I think), in a no smoking room, etc. Will this kill the action? As far as I can tell the structure will require an all in fest very quickly. Would flattening the blind structure fix it, or would more starting chips be required? I personally have ran a couple of home tournaments for a couple of years and we run a 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800... tournament for a long time that is 15 to 20 players strong but we start with 3000 chips or 5000 chips depending on the tourney.

If I talk to management will they fix it? I don't know. If it is truly as bad as I think it is I think that it is worth letting them know, and I will be sure to get others to tell them they will not play anymore either. But first I was wondering for a winner take all what should be changed with the structure? I'll refer them to this thread.

Thanks in advance

This is an interesting question. Try posting it in either the Poker Theory or Tournaments forum if you haven't already.

When you say there are $5 bounties, do you mean you get $5 whenever you bust out any other player?

Frankly, the structure doesn't seem like it would be very popular.
