flop bet looked like he wanted someone to go over top... then turn confirmed it.... was i too passive? Should i have believe this guy at some point?

Preflop i was OOP and wanted to see a flop before making this a big pot..

yea thats what i thought.. wanted to make sure thoughg... i'm pretty happy i still had chips left after this.

Definate push on turn, but theres no way are you saving yourself any chips on this one.

but unless he has exactly 99... or maybe KJ/K9... i'm behind when he calls me...

with the above line, i get more money out of AK, KQ, and bluffs.. and i don't lose all my chips to QT, or KK

Yes i'm only behind 2 hands, but those are the ones that call me when i push.

He's not going to call a push there w/ AK.. he's going ot need to have flopped the straight, set of 9's, set of K's, or KJ.

I'm only ahead 50% when he calls my push.

But if i call him down, i get paid more by hands that i beat, and i pay less for hands that beat me.


what's wrong with this thinking?

KJ,K9,AK,KQ,99,AA,J9 etc. will all pay you off
