do you honestly think that MLB's testing will catch guys who have access to the best chemists in the world?

i dont hate the guy, and if i were a yankee fan i would love him at the plate also. the guy is a sabermetric junkie dream come true. however, anyone who doesnt think he is PROBABLY cheating is being very naive.

jeter
arod
giambi
sheff
matsui

edit- this is a sheffield who cannot run AT ALL, he can hardly jog. in the 1st he was on 1st with jeter on 2nd, matsui drove a ball to the wall in the middle of the gap and sheffield couldnt score, if he was running even 2/3 he would have made it. that could be the difference in the game.

he has a career path that is pretty normal AND has never been 'caught' usuing enhancers.

why is he definitly on something?

EDIT: and yes i would feel 'guilty' if he was playing a serious roll in a pennant race. (which giambi has already done quite a few times)

Nothing is going to happen, so lets just drop it. baseball is too good right now to be arguing over this piece of white garbage.

ok, I dont actually think ortiz has used steroids, but my point was that you can just accuse a player with no evidence. right now, there is no evidence that giambi is on steroids yet you say someone would be naive to think he isnt. see how unfair it is for me to say obviously ortiz is on the juice?

i know they are different cases, giambi has done steroids in the past. but i dont think theres any evidence at all to show hes on them now, and I don't believe he is at all.
