Default Tough spot with KK

UTG+1 is a relative unknown although is on the LAGish side.
MP3 is 19/10 TAG

I dont really see any option here other than 3 betting. Its your only hope of getting UTG+1 out of the pot, unless your goona rely on MP1 to bet the turn but thats risky.

Cripes that's ugly. I would 3 bet, but if either player caps you might consider check-folding the turn. MP3 action is consistent with AA, QQ, TT. UTG+1 is consistent with AA.

I don't like the flop check for this reason, you make it correct for people to try to shut people out with hands worse than yours. Given the way this has gone down, there is serious merit to folding. I can't decide it i want to do that or 3 bet. By 3 betting, you are defining your hand and should be able to muck to any fruther resistance.

I think the argument for folding the flop can be made too. He said UTG+1 was laggish, if he wasn't folding becomes better, IMHO. That said I think it's a mistake, in general, to lay down big overpairs on the flop. Like you said if you stay on the attack and they continue to fire back anyway you can be more sure of your laydown.

I'm farily certian that DERB takes advantage of this line thinking. Not that it's wrong, it's just important to be aware...

Im sure he does, but if he said "Villian in this is Derb" i would say "Keep a vice grip on those cards"
