Edward Moncada
Does anyone know how to contact Moncada?
I thought it was interesting he was a traveling pro. He spends 6-8 months in a city and moves on. It would be great if he wrote for Cardplayer Mag or had a blog. |

Re: Edward Moncada
You can't catch up with the man, he's always on the move.

Re: Edward Moncada
I think you're the one person who has ever played poker who doesn't know him personally.

Re: Edward Moncada
Gather 'round, my boys and I will tell you a tale. Adapted, o'course for the situation at hand.
There was once a man named Moncada. He was walking through town and everyone was waving and saying hello. Well he walked into the bar and received a mighty cheer from the crowd. The bartender says "Who're you? I've never seen you before." Well the crowd was just awestruck, they were, and rightly so. Everyone knew Edward Moncada! So Mancada told him that he was known throughout the world and would prove it to the bartender. First they flew to the white house. Moncada walked right up to George Bush and they had a great conversation about simpler times. Next, they flew to Japan. Against the bartender's protestations, they took a bus straight to the emperor's home and they had a few beers before taking off. Sadly, this story came to an end at the Vatican. Moncada went to the Pope while the bartender stayed with the rest of the crowd to watch the Pope deliver a speech. When it was over, Moncada was up there talking to him and joking around. The bartender grabbed his heart and keeled over when a nearby citizen said "Hey, who's that guy up there with Eddy?" |
