Default TPTK gets donked into on the river w/ a big pot

Last night, live 6/12 Casino Arizona

BB is not unreasonable, but is a bit loose pre-flop. This is his 3rd orbit at the table. The last hand he showed down against me I busted him pretty good with the nut straight when he had the little end of the straight.

MP1 is laggy as hell but plays reasonably well post-flop and is a bit tricky. Makes plays at lots of pots and loves to cold call. In general, if he's going to make a play, he'll do it on the flop to get the momentum and then continue to apply pressure on the turn and river. If checked to, he will bet 80% of the time or more. If he waits 'till the turn to raise, it's meant a real hand every time so far.

I raise AhJh UTG. MP1 calls, folded to the BB who calls.

6 SB, 3 players to the flop
Flop: Js 4s 8h

BB bets, I raise, MP1 calls, BB raises, I cap, MP1 calls.

BB didn't like the cap at all. He does not look happy. MP1 has a look of, "what the hell is going on here." Neither player is paying attention to me, just looking at the board, so I don't think they're putting on an act. I am pretty sure I am ahead here, most likely up against a weaker jack and a flush or straight draw (BB and MP1, respectively). However, if I'm behind, I'm way behind, likely to a set or a J8 two pair. Neither opponent is showing any sign of going away. I decide to kick into WA/WB mode and call down unless I improve, although I will bet if checked to as giving a free card to the draws is the worst of all worlds.

9BB, 3 players to the turn
Turn: 2d

BB checks, I bet, MP1 calls, BB calls

No raise and no check-raise. My confidence is higher now that I'm ahead unless something really tricky is going on. A set would be looking to jam the turn.

12 BB, 3 players to the river
River: 10h

BB bets, I die a little inside and call, MP1 calls

BB waking back up on the river scares the everliving crap out of me. MP1's call is a bit confusing also, as the draw I read him for would have folded. This pot is just too big to fold for one bet, though. BB could easilly be making a play for the pot here. I was planning to fold to a raise.

Feels pretty standard, but I can't get away from the hunch that I should have taken a different line.
