Open Challenge April: Suggestions and Entrants

Since John Nickle has decided to pass on running the big show anymore, I have elected to take up the reigns unless I prove incompitent or people impeach me. So with that I would first like to establish some slightly clearer rules as to what this challenge should include. The major considerations are:

1.When exactly to report hands and the penalty for not doing so?
[I was thinking Thursday to Sunday would be good, possibly losing hands for not reporting?]
2. What hands do count, for how many?
[I think all hands should count because we want to be motivated to play any winning poker, but not sure on how to count things]
3. The matchups?
[basically its good now, you challenge someone specific or are matched up, but if anyone wants a clearer system of deciding how many hands to do, giving an over or under?]
4. The avatars?
[specific things not allowed?]

Sorry if any of that isn't too clear, but basically just looking for some solid guidlines so we can really get motivated. We want to be encouraged to play more, but not to go nuts because it is in the end only over an avatar. Any and all suggestions on how to better refine this already great established idea would be awesome.

Anyone mind posting a quick run down of what the rules for the OC are?

I'm assuming the premise is to set a goal for number of hands played for the month and making periodic updates. I'm just curious as to what hands are counted (ring, MTT, etc.), what the penalty is for missing the goal, or anything else that I should know.

All hands are counted. Proof (PT screenshots) may be asked for. You're pitted against someone else with a similar hand range. Winner picks the other person's avatar for a month.

That's the basics anyway.
