The general consensus is the fold was a bad move. Maybe someone can help me figure out why. I have 3 clean outs, the jack of diamonds, and 4 6s. So say about 6 outs total, which is generous. That's 6.7:1 against hitting an out on the river. The pot's giving around 5.5:1. Does implied odds tip the decision that far?

I'd say 70-80% of the time you're [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] outs are clean. Their play isn’t a flush draw the vast majority of the time. In addition if one of them has a ten you could get many bets on the river when the J hits.
