I like how you explained your action on each street. A few quick comments without reading the other responses.

I don't like the pre-flop call. QT is one of those hands that can get in a lot of trouble post-flop, quick. It can't withstand a lot of pressure and is often outkicked by hands like QK, AQ, QJ, etc. I think the pre-flop call in marginal at best. Without position, I would toss that hand away. Of course, if you can hit the flop hard then you're hopefully going to take money from aggressive players who can't fold.

I would re-raise the flop. You got the contiuation bet, now let him know that he is behind. If he doesn't re-raise you on the flop, you can bet the turn and river. If he re-pops you on the flop you can let the hand go.

I think Villian's hand range is wider than that. He could be holding a lot of stuff we're ahead of, like a medium PP like 77-TT.

I love people who min raise with the nuts. What a dumb way to play poker.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (7 handed) converter

SB ($111)
Hero ($173.60)
UTG ($167)
MP1 ($25.30)
MP2 ($32.30)
CO ($79.70)
Button ($73.20)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $4, 4 folds, SB calls $3.50, Hero calls $3.

Flop: ($12) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $9, SB folds, Hero calls $9.

Turn: ($30) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $15, UTG calls $15.

River: ($60) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $20, UTG raises to $40, Hero calls $20.

Final Pot: $140

Results:
Hero has Ts Qs (three of a kind, queens).
UTG has Qh Ac (three of a kind, queens).
Outcome: UTG wins $140.

Stupid Ace.

PoBoy - dead on.

scapperdog - generally I agree, but less so against this opponent.

waxie - tx. I think against this guy, unless I hit the flop way harder than this against an UTG raise, I'm gone.

I think my blocker was less than I normally make. If I'm going to block, I should block $30 and fold to any raise.

Lesson learned. I hate it when people have exactly what they're representing

[ QUOTE ]
That looks alright as long as you can fold to a raise on the end.

[/ QUOTE ]

Folding to a raise sucks given the weak bets Hero has been making. 1/2 pot on the turn and 1/3 pot on the river and you plan to fold to a raise from a person with a post-flop aggression rating of 5.5?
