Re: Favorite beer.
Doesn't anyone drink Rogue brews? I haven't tried one beer from them that was below excellent. The DeadGuy Ale is the nectar of the gods!

Re: Favorite beer.
I'm a Guinness and Harp fan, myself. I also spent an extended period in the Czech Republic and their beer is incredible.
Gambrinus, Budvar (the real Budweiser), Pilsner Urquell are all excellent. Krusovice was a guaranteed hangover for me, though. It's also cheaper than Pepsi (and in some places, cheaper than water.) |

FWIW, Sierra was my favorite "everyday" beer up until about a year ago when I started drinking Fat Tire. |

Re: Favorite beer.
New Belgium Brewing is oustanding.
I don't really think "favorite beer" can be answered, it's like "favorite song." It's so dependent on mood, time of day, weather, etc etc etc. Favorite brewery would be a good question, as would favorite stout, summer ale, hef, pale ale, etc etc etc. But favorite beer? no such thing. |

[ QUOTE ] Westvleteren 12, Belgium [/ QUOTE ] Great call. If I'm having more than one at a time, though, I like the 10 a little better. [/ QUOTE ] That's a bit odd as they don't make a 10 12, 8 and 6 they do. I assume you mean the 8, which is indeed a great beer too. I don't know why I didn't include that on my list [ QUOTE ] Have you been to the monestary/cafe? In addition to the fantastic beer, they make some of the best ice cream I've ever had. [/ QUOTE ] No, I haven't had the chance to get there yet, but it's on my list of "Beer Mekka's" to visit: Münich Octoberfest (Check) Bamberg (Check) Plzen Brussels Beer Festival (Check) Westvleteren Great British Beer Festival An American Beer Festival |
