as you've probably realized by now, not many people on (on these forums anyway) use this service. a while back I read 1 post from a guy who tried it out.

basically, this idea, right now anyway, is more innovative and interesting than practical. unless you have a cel plan where you basically already pay for unlimited airtime/downloads, then essentially you're paying a huge rake premium by being 'online' to play.

on top of that, the risk of a dropped or wonky signal is enough to scare a lot of people away.

finally, it's not like you can play while driving, or walking down the street/going around town.

like I said, I think there are a lot of practictality/trust issues which have prevented people from trying this out.
