What happened to the 2+2 archives?

Tried searching the recent archives today. The search function only allows to search in the previous 6 months... Have the posts between 2002-2004 disappeared?

No, though it took me a while to figure it out as well. Go to Older Archives, once you're there there's a link to the recent archives. (Talk about nonintuitive.)

I figured out the problem. They have modified the search function. You can now only search in 6 month intervals. So, after fooling around a bit, it seems that it is impossible to access posts in certain date ranges. WTF....
You can't just search all previous posts by a poster anymore. I have no idea why they would change it.

I didn't have any problem searching for anytime in the 2 years previous when going through looking for razz posts this morning. Although for some reason you can't search for between 1 year and 18 months -- 12 months and 18 months works though.

Edit: I agree that it's a terrible way to go about it, though.
