Default Facing a random river bet from a loose-passive.

Villain is loose and between neutral to passive postflop. I haven't seen him bet very often; he had mostly been check/calling.

When MP bets into you on this river, begin preparing yourself mentally for losing this pot. The first step to this preparation is by calling.

What is there to think about here? You have a straight in a 23 bet pot. It's not like the board is double paired and 4 to the flush. Your read will be wrong enough to make this a profitable call.

If I thought I had any chance of getting a free card, I raise this flop

River is obviously a call...im assuming you were debating a raise and not a fold?? You CANT fold, and raising is to much given the read and all, and there is an overcall to go for, so it works out the same anyway

There's no way in hell I'm folding. It was raising vs. calling. Wanted to make sure this was a textbook overcall.
