Default KK on Drawless Board (PP $50NL)

Don't have any reads on the villain. What's your plan on the turn? Is flop OK?

Button ($49.27)
SB ($63.65)
BB ($62.95)
UTG ($54.05)
UTG+1 ($25.9)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.

Given that you have no reads, call. Call a smallish river bet. He could have a queen, but he's not going to pay off a big enough raise that oyu have to make to justify the times you lose to a set.

I think I call the turn.

looks like a weak player who doesn't know how to play a set or it could be something like TT, JJ.

Either way raising does you no good.

I agree.

I think 1 of you is drawing to a 2 outer.

whats the plan should he check a blank river?

I think I would check behind.

I would be confused if he lead for pot at the river though.

Assuming no ace comes on river:

If he checks river, do you check behind?
Do you call a 1/3 - 1/2 pot sized bet on river?

Thanks.

He has no reason to try to check raise this river, so I think a value bet is in order. Call a 1/3-1/2 bet on river.
