Default 10/20 Mirage: Turn Action

Just sitting at this game for a bit while I wait for the O8 game to start.
BB in this hand seems TAG but not sure since I have only been here for most of a rotation. I have folded every hand until now:
Folded to me on the button and I have Qs9s and I raise, SB folds and BB says " Looks like you are trying to steal." and three-bets, I call.
Flop
J-T-7 one spade
BB leads and I raise, he says " Maybe you weren't trying to steal" and calls.
Turn is a low spade BB checks.
When BB just smooth called the flop I thought AK/AQ maybe AT or a PP like 88 or 99. What is my turn action and why?

check with your million outs. i highly doubt he's folding that turn (especially given his comments) and it'd suck to have to call a check/raise.

You got the free card, take it. You are not likely to run him off a pair or two overs.

Bet, people at the Mirage are quite fond of making big laydowns. They can't do this if you check.

Understandable, what If I check and the river blanks off? What would be my action if he checked? (I am folding to a river bet)

If check raised would you at all be in support of a three-bet?

That's usually a waste of time. You are basically betting the turn for two reasons. 1, you can get him to fold some medium-smallish pair and 2, you set up a believable river bluff assuming AK, AQ.

Hard to say. Will he call you down with ace high? If you think that probability is high, give up, next hand. I probably give up as he must know I'm drawing and will call.

Maybe SoCal has muddled my mind. Here if I bet I always get called. Most of the games here turn into a hornets net from the afternoon on.

I think I got it now:
If I bet the turn and he calls I can value bet (If I hit) or bluff correctly considering I would be getting 7 1/2 to 1 on the end. But if I check the turn and miss, a river bet looks too desperate and will probably get called by AK/AQ or any pair right? If i get check raised that seems easy enough to handle because I am still getting odds to call and hit my draws.
One more question, if the river is a Q or a 9 and I am checked to is this at all a value bet?
