Redundant bet on Pinnacle
ALCS will last exactly 7 games:
Yes: +430 No: -480 Angels will win 2 or fewer games in the ALCS: Yes: -470 No: +420 Is this not exactly the same bet? |

Re: Redundant bet on Pinnacle
They have those sometimes. Like they have futures bets on who will win the Rose Bowl, and then they have a prop on whether USC wins the Rose Bowl. (Or at least they used to.)

seems slightly different... especially since they are on the same page and right next to each other.

Re: Redundant bet on Pinnacle
Yes, it's redundant. But since the prices are virtually the same, I don't see the big deal. Since they sound different enough, there might be some non-thinking prop bettors who are attracted to one but not the other. More props, more action for the book.

Re: Redundant bet on Pinnacle
no, not a big deal. Just seemed weird. The futures thing that MCS mentioned isn't really the same. Most futures bets don't have a "No" option.

Re: Redundant bet on Pinnacle
at the point of this prop the ChiSox were up 3-1.
Any series that doesn't reach 7 games the Angels also win 2 or fewer - any series that reaches 7 games the Angels win more than 2. |
