Two Plus Two blocked at work
For the past month every time I go to twoplustwo.com at work I get this annoying "Web site blocked by Web Washer" message. Is there any way around this? My productivity is much too high.

Re: Two Plus Two blocked at work
Do you have a network at home?
I have a linux box running web/mail/etc. at home, so I SSH into my house and set up a SOCKS5 proxy through Putty. This basically sets up port 7070 (or whatever you pick) on your localhost as a proxy server. Change your browser proxy settings to "localhost" and port 7070 and you can browse whatever you want. I guess what I'm saying is...you need to set up a tunnel if you can. |

Re: Two Plus Two blocked at work
At my last job they blocked www.twoplustwo.com but not forumserver.twoplustwo.com which is all you need for the forums to work.

Re: Two Plus Two blocked at work
SSH? Putty? SOCKS5? Sorry, no clue what you're talking about. I am running Windows XP with DSL. My computer is on all day while I'm at work. Is there any hope? If so, HOW do I do all these things you say I must do?

Re: Two Plus Two blocked at work
Try putting in the IP address for 2+2 in the address bar in your browser. This was the way I got around the site blocker at my high school.
The IP for 2+2 is 69.20.77.96 |
