Default Grinding question.

I've been playing for about a month now, deposited 100$ on Party and had my BR grow to 400$ playing 0.5/1. Then unfortunately I had to withdraw most of it because of real-life bad beats and had 100$ left. And now after a bad run I've got 70$ left, which is too little, especially because I like to two-table mostly. So now I'm going to move to a lower limit, probably 0.25/0.5. But the question is, where should I head to? A nice bonus that's feasibly clearable at that limit wouldn't hurt.

$70 isn't enough for .25/.5

you were playing well underrolled before

stars, paradise, UB all have nano-limits, I haven't played any of them so I don't know which is best

I agree. Paradise is generally regarded as softer than Stars, which is slightly softer than UB.

Ok, thanks for your advice, I'll play the nanos then. I got lucky once, no point in taking the risk again. I've been overestimating my skills due to a good run anyway. Well, I'll be off grinding somewhere trying to apply the stuff I've learnt from reading.

sorry pooh bahs, but I think the +EV move is to bonus whore the prima skins even with only $70.

try
golden riviera
bet 365
spin palace
wildjack
bigdollar

all have bonuses clearable at .25/.50. You'll be underbankrolled (at 140bbs) but the bonus overlay should keep you afloat better than playing .10/.20

If you're willing to grind at the nanos, you might as well look into casino bonuses, they are probably much faster than playing poker to build your BR.

I'll consider this when I have a bit more of a bankroll.

Good point, but right now I'm so eager to get better at poker that I couldn't stand having a day off. Because moving cash to Neteller and then to casinos and back isn't instant, I'd be forced to take a break from poker, and I can't have that.

I got SSHE yesterday and finished reading it today, and it has been a real eye-opener, I've played really poorly even though I've been winning. But I'm determined to get better and I think I have much potential. As long as I can identify my mistakes I can improve. I just moved my BR to Neteller and tomorrow I'll start playing Paradise Poker's nanolimits. I really love this game and it's been a long time since I've been this excited about anything. The bankroll will build itself in time, there's no hurry.

Sorry for being a bit long-winded and off-topic, thanks for your replies, I'm off to revisit some sections in SSHE.

OK man, I have the perfect bonuses for you. Go to www.casino.net, they have a cool deal where if you play 500 raked hands, you get $100 free. The beauty is, its clearable playing .10/.20, which seems to be perfect for your BR at the moment. The games are incredibly soft, as a casino site might suggest, and nicely passive too. The only problem is, the bonus only counts on hands that you enter the pot in, but still, grind it out and you could come out hugely ahead. Also, there is a whole network of these sites, with similar bonuses, which could easily get you up to the right BR for .5/1 again. Check out the thread in the internet bonus forum for more info.

How's the cashouts and game selection here? Who are the other sites on this network?
