The Turn gives you a 4 flush...whats your line...?
Typical full table.
In the small blind with 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 limpers to you, you complete, SB checks (5 SB) You flop bottom pair with a backdoor club draw. MP1 bets, you call, UTG calls. 8 SB. Turn is a small club. UTG donk bets, MP1 raises. You? Getting 3.5-1 with bottom pair and a small flush draw, call or fold? 3 betting is out because the possibility is too great you are going to get capped. What would you do in a 6 max situation of the same ilk. Thanks |

Re: The Turn gives you a 4 flush...whats your line...?
I probably would have folded preflop but that isn't necessarily a bad call. However the call on the flop was bad, you should not have been in the situation on the turn because you shouldn't have even been in the hand.

Hard to read this hand without all the action and cards. I think I would fold the flop.

Re: The Turn gives you a 4 flush...whats your line...?
Huh??? With 3 limpers your getting 9-1 on your call...you should play almost any 2 suited here. Its very unlikley that you have dead cards. I wonder how many people would make this call with A2o but would run away with 93s. Its highly unlikley your a 9-1 under dog.

Re: The Turn gives you a 4 flush...whats your line...?
easy preflop call.
how many outs you think you have here? you need about 10 to call but probably can do better with implied odds if you hit the clubs if you don't think you will be 3bet or capped on the turn. how often do you think you will be 3 bet on teh turn? Also how aggressive is MP1? Will he raise teh donk with top pair? I think you can call. |

Re: The Turn gives you a 4 flush...whats your line...?
I like a call. Your flush outs are almost always good, your trip outs will usually be good, and your two pair outs will occasionally be good.
And I think UTG will rarely three bet behind you. Given the relative positioning, I think UTG would usually go for a check raise with his monsters. |
