It seems fine to me. I don't think CO is folding a better hand on the river after calling the turn, and you'd have to be pretty lucky to get called by a worse one.

Plus, maybe he'll check behind with 98o or bluff AJ.

I'm not happy when he actually bets (and I wish, for instance, that J9 hadn't just got there), but he seems aggressive enough that you can call.

You're an underdog when called and you can't bluff a calling station, so you shouldn't bet of course, but do you think a Villain this passive bluffs often enough to warrant check-calling?

I think you get called more often by A highs and sometimes the particularly curious Khigh trying to make the heroic play. I'm willing to fold to a raise from a passive type. I think he has nothing and the question is whether he has the nothing that will bluff more than it will call.

Oops. I wanted to add: I like check folding as much as check calling, maybe more.

I think you can just check fold sometimes if you want. Seems pretty close, maybe do it 50/50 or something.
