I bet the turn and call down if raised.

What could CC 2 from MP1 in a 2/4 game when the R and RR were in EP assuming full ring? I really don't know. Maybe AK, or AQs, or even QQ, JJ or TT. Maybe a scared of AA KK. That's about it for me and I'd probably lay down the TT.

Fold is wrong.

Bet/call turn, then if raised check/call river
if not raised bet/call river

Checking the turn was a bad move. Folding after the turn bet from your opponent would have been an even worse move. He bet the turn because you checked, highly doubtful he had the jack.

Your turn check said, "oops, I don't have the jack, if you bet maybe I'll fold", so he bet.

Well this guy was after 349 tracked hands in PT a LAP player VP$P 31% Total AF 1.17 so I honestly put him on AJs after he cold called me preflop and on the flop, though I think I should have bet the turn and folded to a raise to save myself the 1 bb on the river. But I was wrong about AJs or even AJo... the guy had 76s cold calling 3sb preflop calling the flop and semibluffing the turn and making his strait on the river. I think the guy is a poker genius or something. I do also want to know would anyone else out there cold call three bets to see a flop with 76s from MP or any position? I want to make sure I am not missing out on a big money making hand here.

i think you know that coldcalling 3 with 76s is bad.

instead of focusing on a "bad beat," focus on your own play this hand. you should have bet the turn. it doesn't matter that the other guy won the hand - what matters is that you misplayed it.

okay, here.

he played his hand horribly preflop. he should not have made that call. then, he bet the turn. he probably thought you would fold AK/AQ to a bet. the pot was big so he semi-bluffed. then, he hit on the river, damn man he hit his miracle draw!! crap!! that sucks!! just because he won, though, you still should have won because your AA was better than his 76 s00ted, and he made a big mistake preflop.

now here's my question:

if he had TT, would you have posted this hand?

Don't bother. He obviously had 76o or you wouldn't have posted this. He should've capped preflop and raised the flop...he left money on the table, and you should send him a Christmas card for not taking more of yours. Oh, and UTG+2 was clearly in cahoots with MP1 (how did you get a seat between UTG+2 and MP1, anyhoo?) and was just in there to bloat the pot so MP1's odds would be right on the turn to call your bet*.

Don't ever play aces again. They ALWAYS get sucked out on.

Glum (you remember me, from the old "Gulliver's Travels" tee-vee show?)

*If you'd made the right play and bet out your aces on the turn, the Party card "randomizer" might've been nicer to you and not completed his straight on the river. Dumbass.
