I've cleared $thousands doing >10x bonuses in the last few months. If I could 8-table the game of my choice at absolute, you can guarantee I would play 30,000 hands a month there. They just don't have that much action or game selection. As for what standards someone should have for bonuses, I guess it all depends on play volume. If you play 5k hands/month, then by all means stick to the 7x-8x raked bonuses. High volume players have to go for some slower (but larger) bonuses. I would take a $600 bonus that clears at 15x over a $100 bonus that clears at 7x given the choice.
