Default How many units should I bet on this one?

OK, let's say that I like to bet on golf matchups. Let's also say I do very well with them.

When I find a golfer I like, I bet one unit on him.
When I find a golfer I don't like, I bet one unit AGAINST him.

My question: If I find a matchup where a golfer I like is matched up against a golfer I don't like, how much should I bet on this one?

I've been betting two units, but these matchups NEVER lose. It feels like my edge is bigger than the sum of two smaller edges.

(I know that saying "never lose" riles people up. You can safely presume that I'm basing that on a teeny, tiny sample size. Not sure exactly, but it's less than six such bets. However, note that not only have they never lost, they've never been close.)

Don't get greedy. Bet your two units. You'll come out ahead in the long run.
