I don't have much time to do as big a write up as I did last year, but those picks weren't worth a damn anyway. I'm trying to go against the favorite in the top spot in most instances.

1. Sorcerer's Stone - Another who should get a good trip behind an expected strong pace. Plus Guidry seems to excel with closer types.

1. Wonder Again - Probably ran best race of year in last. Loves soft ground.
2. Karen's Caper
3. Film Maker
4. Ouija Board

Sprint

1. Lost in the Fog - Many people seem to want to beat him here. This field is suspect if you ask me. Gate to wire.
2. Lion Tamer
3. Battle Won
4. Elusive Jazz

Mile

1. Gorella - Just taking a stab here. May improve in second straight US start.

Distaff

1. Society Selection - Should get a good pace setup, and hopefully a good ride/trip.

1. Fourty Niners Son - Will probably be the highest price of several contenders in here. Improving.

1. Oratorio - Taking a shot that he'll like the dirt. Several good races at this distance.

Best Bet: Wonder Again
Best Longshot/Value: Society Selection

0 for 8, but ended up a good bit ahead thanks to the Pleasant Home - Society Selection exacta, and the 2 pre BC races.

Would have done much better if someone told me to box my picks in each races superfecta (Distaff $20,300).
