Overplayed on river?
20/40 @ The Fox.
Pick up 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in MP and limp behind 1 limper, button calls BB checks. 4 to flop. Flops A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Limper bets I call, all fold, heads up. Turn brick. He bets I raise he calls. River Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] He checks I bet, He raises, I 3 bet, He puts in 4, I puke and call. How bad is the 3 bet after getting checkraised? |

Re: Overplayed on river?
Raise the flop. Letting KQ/KT/QT correctly call is really bad. The only hand that you're folding with a raise that you want to keep in is Jx. The limper's flop bet makes me strongly inclined to believe he has AQ or something rather than KT, I like the river 3bet just fine and even following the 4bet I think you're ahead a lot.

Re: Overplayed on river?
not too bad, he could just as easily checkraise with QJ here, or if he likes to limp alot, then AQ. Auto 3-bet for me.
PS - raise the flop with bottom set. |
