Played with him for two hours or so. Finished 31st just out of the money -- what a waste of time. I'll probably post a trip report this weekend. Sam got a bit drunk and was wild to play with -- actually more than a bit drunk. He was raising many/most pots and coming over the top of raises with large all-in bets and then consistently showing down absoutely trash when his opponents folded -- it happpened time after time. I couldn't believe it when I saw that he lasted to 10th. I was just itching to catch a hand against one of his wild moves. I actually did, but unfortunately for me it was the hand after I went from $25k to $4k so I only won a few thousand chips from him. He was a nice enough guy and I'm glad for him, but I can't believe the alcohol helps his play (but what do I know).

Could someone translate? The title of this post seems to have nothing to do with the second post in the thread, and the links don't go anywhere specific, just to the front pages, which don't seem to relate to the subject either.
