Default Do I give up on my semi-bluff here?

No reads. All-in villian's stack is $55, I cover.

.50/$1 NLHE 8-handed

Preflop: Hero is CO with 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50
2 folds, MP1 minraises to $2, MP2 calls $2, Hero calls $2, 2 folds, BB calls $1.

Flop: ($8.25) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $2.50, MP2 calls $2.50, Hero raises to $15, BB folds, MP1 folds, MP2 pushes all-in for ~$50 total

$35 more for me to call. Comments welcome on preflop and flop.

EDIT: edited villians stack size to get it right.

that was a terrible raise on the flop. Raise to $10 max + what are your chances to move MP2 off AK,KQ,KJ with your raise and will MP1 fold. Im laying it down as im getting 2:1 with 13 outs.

I don't know if I like the PF call with villan only having ~50BBs.

While led into, you have to decide whether or not you are playing for his stack or not. You have little FE IMO. win percentage:

As Ks 52.63%
3c 4c 47.37%

You are getting less than favorable odds (2:1). I think I fold.

Primary minraising villian had a normal stack. All-in villian was short.

Flop raise is fine IMO. Hero has 12 outs + with the additional metagame benefits. Getting 2.2-1 with 12 outs is a pretty standard call I think.

Given the flop action, how much do we have to look at the possibility that MP2 has a bigger flush draw? That's what it sorta looks like.

Ah, misread. PF call is still marginal at best IMO.

In hindsight, the chances are too great for him to have a flush draw as well. So I shouldn't be calling villian's all-in. Sadly, I did call him and his Jc9c. And his Jack high was dominating my 4 high, plus gutshot. Results after that point are immaterial.

The fact that he first just called a bet then raised allin means either of 2 things:

-He is holding a set and dont want to take away your chance of making a move, or is hoping for you to do a overcall.

or

-he got stubborn with a draw.

i'm behind to both, the proper move is to fold. But i tend to think lesser of my villains, giving him credit for a lesser hand and call, assuming i got odds :P.

That's of course a consideration, but if you aren't willing to get your money in on a flop like this, why call preflop? FWIW, I don't think this necessarily means a flush draw, although you're in a better position to make that judgement than I.
