Default would everyone else just drop this bb preflop

tables are full of fish and calling stations but occasionaly get out of control with betting. wondering if i should have been in this at all and especially if after my two bets were in do i call the second two bets to get to the flop?

I play it the same except for the river. I'm having trouble reading their hands but I'm pretty sure you can't overcall here.

Preflop is fine. You are getting great odds to call the cap.

Looks fine to me. Good call pre-flop since you had a LOT of action. Just curious, did your pair of 8s actually hold up? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

i'm folding to the raise preflop and the 2-bet on the flop.

actually, i might have peeled for the gutshot, but the river is an easy fold.

I play fairly tight...I would fold this preflop to the raises.

I saw in a different post that you are getting crushed lately. That was happening to me and I went down one level. You may want to try it to see what happens. It made a big difference for me.

count the pot. do you see how HUGE it is? you have get odds to call the first one and tremendous ones to call the others.

No. Tough spot. You have odds and you will take a beating here very often but when you win you win big.

You've got enough odds preflop to call just for your flush. Your hand also has outside straight possibilities, not to mention all the other good flops like two pair, trips etc. Good call PF.
