Default Tipping the dealer

I have not played poker in a live casino setting yet, only online. I usually shoot craps or play blackjack. I am going to Vegas on Monday and think I will sit down at a poker game while there.

How much should I toke the dealer if I win a hand? In bj I usually just put a $1.00 chip on top of my bet and if I win I throw them the dollar that I won and keep the dollar on top of the bet until I lose.

At low stakes tables, if you toss the dealer a buck whenever you win a reasonably sized pot, it will be appreciated.

Thanks, I don't want to be a cheap A$$, I know they work for minimum wage and tokes are how they make their money.
