Default POCKET ACES PROBABLITIES

OK, I was playing in a tourney (not online) a couple weeks ago. I was heads up and got raised with pokcet aces. I reraised and the other player went all in, when he showed low and behold ha has pocket aces too. What are the odds of this happening heads up? Now the most bizzarre thing about this hand is that we are both figuring well just split the pot but 4 diamonds come on the community and he hits a flush. What are the odds of each pair of aces winning the pot?
I was also wondering what the odds of kk vs aa happening heads up and kk busting aa. This has also happened to me. THANKS!

The odds of both players get A-A when heads up is 4P4/52P4 = 1 in 270,725

Out of 1,712,304 hands (48C5) each hand has 37,210 ways to win or 1,637,884 ways to split, so the chance of one of you winning (rather than splitting) is 4.36% or 1 in 23

A-A versus K-K (differs slightly when suits double up) are 82.64% versus 17.36%, so Kings will get up 1 in 5.76 times

Doc,

The final number (1/270,725) is correct, but the odds isn't derived from 4^4/52^4, it is 4/52*3/51*2/50*1/49...

Where did he have anything to the power of anything else? He didn't, unless I'm missing something.

You realize that P stands for Permutations, correct?

I'd prefer to attack this with one computation and say 1/C(52,4) myself...but the answer is still the same.
