Re: 10/20 Commerce Aces
I like the raise preflop. B/c you are in the SB, and will be 1st to act the entire way through, its impt that you bet high enough, that way it will be easier to define ur opponenets hand.
On the flop, I like the check, but I would have reraised him instead of calling. If he has AK, you want to get the money in asap before scary cards come. Likewise with KQ. THere is not point to give him a free card, b/c most likely the only cards that will give u action may complete his set or trips. I would have raised the turn |

Re: 10/20 Commerce Aces
99-QQ, which is most likely what he has.

Results
I was 50/50 on calling the river bet but decided to call getting 3.2 to 1
He flipped over KK Not trying to be results oriented I feel the hand went "as good as it could" but my play could be seen as passive. My thoughts were any raise or bet would ensure a huge pot(high percentage chance of taking the worst of it) or scarring off a pocket pair) I dunno know-I think given no read/experience with villian a river fold could be found. (what hand range could villian put me on to bet the river giving me over 3 to 1 if villian has qq or jj) But of course, this is commerce thanks for the replies, off to vegas for New Years and should have some Bellagio 10/20 hands to post next week |
