My Bad Beat radar just went off. Either that, or you were actually SB in this hand and trying to justify your call.

However, I think a reasonable player should lay down KQs when faced with an all-in that may end the tournament for him. It true that BB could have a pp (race situation) or BB could even be pushing with air to defend his blind.

But the reality is that BB could have a dominating hand and that should be the deciding factor (minus specific reads).
