They will still get in. Games against Houston, SF, Cleveland, and Tennessee ensures that.

Gerrard is a servicable backup. He played pretty tough against Indy in a late season game the year before they drafted Leftwigh.

Yes, Garrard is an okay backup. Certainly good enough to waltz through their cupcake schedule and the Jags always play Indy tough (though they will probably lose).

It does make their margin of error a bit smaller with SD, Chiefs, and Pitt breathing down their necks, but I would be pretty surprised if they didn't make it.

Although looking at records the Steelers have to be real careful. They need to win one of these next two games or they are going to be in a dogfight for their playoff lives.
