Default Learning to Re-Steal, Recent Hand

PS $5r/a Sat. to 700k, we're almost there.

Vilian moved to table with T60k and I had T160k. Over the course of 4 orbits I worked my way up to over T200k then back down to T125k on a rivered 4 card flush and an aborted steal attempt. Conversely, vilian has worked his way up to T160k when he rivered an ace with Ax v QQ, rest has been pure aggresion.

It was LATE and I was TIRED My blinds had been picked on and frustration was certainly a factor!

I'll freely admit this is a weak-spot in my game and need a ton of help in this area.

We're a scant few minutes into level 16, 4000/8000/400. Down to final 2 tables, 14 seat, they're are 2 short stacks.

Hero???

Like I said, vilian had been pretty aggressive and I figure this is a perfect opportunity to make the play.

(1) Regardless of the conditions, is this simply a bad spot to make the play considering it's a satellite, my stack, folding to seat, etc?

(2) If you do make the play, is it better to raise as I did, or simply pooosh?

(3) As I played it, raising to "re-steal," I have to make the call here with only T50k behind, right?

In the cold light of day, this seems like an absolute abortion of a hand....any and all comments are welcome, please help a donkey luckbox in training

Also, any and all discussion on the topic of re-steals would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Pretty horrible in a satellite so close to the money. Just fold your way in, unless im misreading the stack sizes/ players left or something.
