Where do you hide? (low content)

Usually I'm playing Limit Holdem, but I like to switch to stud8 or stud when getting my ass kicked. Partying with some fine ladies is always a good prescription as well [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This is such a fun post... I used to hide from stud, now i generally hide IN stud...

Lately, i've been playing a lot of NLHE MTTs, a game that i'm still picking up. After i make a noob mistake for my whole stack or some monkey sucks out to bust me, i love going over to some paradise HU $2/4 HL and playing mainiac-LAG... but when that's not working for me, or i get pissed off at all the boat-over-flush beats i seem to take when i dabble in 5/10, or bust in a stud tourney...

sometimes i take like $1000 to a .25/.50 game and just blow off like $10 playing raise/fold...

but, more often, i hide in the corner of the pub with a bourbon/rocks and pack of Kools...

I'm like 10x better at HE than stud but most of my winnings come from stud =(. I find it much, much easier to hand read in stud against the bad players and it's easier to get them calling all the way beat, on top of that they never bet the river for value with decent hands, it's either a complete lock or a busted draw. I'm absolute fish food for the players who are even marginally better than me but the good stud games rule. I'm still too scared to play lags shorthanded though which ended up causing me to leave an otherwise great game tonight.

I have to agree with Jeffage though. I love playing stud when I run bad at HE or vice versa.

Im just beginning to get into 2-7. I really like the game.

Stud has gotten frustrating for me. Ill play a SNG every now and again, but thats about it.

Stud/8 and O8 are pretty much my only games. I'm currently in Hide Mode™ from stud. Once in a great while I'll play LHE until I'm bored to tears in about 3 orbits.

Anyone ever play Paradise's Crazy Pineapple Hi/Lo? Their lowest stakes are $3/6 which rarely ever goes. I sent them an email suggesting they create some $1/2 tables for cheapos like me.

when I start playing poorly there, I go to cheap NLH SnGs and MTTs.
