Where do you hide? (low content)
Where do you hide/rebuild when Stud, Stud/8 isn’t going so well?
I won’t mention specific sites/games ‘cause - stay the hell away, but here is my list: Pot limit Omaha/8 6-max NL Holdem 6-max LHE 6-max LHE (with a twist, hehe stay away) [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] So, how about you? Oh yeah, I did say low content.

Stud8, O8, and 2-7 are where I hide when I am running bad playing HE, I also play these games just to wind down after a long session. I just had a nice 80 BB HE upswing so I am playing a little stud8 to cool down. I am playing shorthanded with a guy who doesnt even know the rules, yet I am losing...lol.

If it comes down to it and I'm running on a thin bankroll I'll usually 4-6 table limit hold'em. Usually though I stick to stud unless I have been running really bad and think a change of game will help get me out of the rut.

Oh jeez.
I just signed on to PS. I haven't played much for a while. But the HU SNGs are awesome. I used to 4 table stud. Now I play 1 table of HU. I risk much much less money. I have 3 times as much fun. And so far, my win rate is comparable (ultra tiny sample size). But the main point is, I'm engaged and having a good time.

NLHE, mostly smallish cash games but some sit 'n' goes as well. I do prefer to play live, but I usually call down and don't bother if there isn't a stud or stud/8 game going.

2-7 triple draw is my current favorite...although I usually don't hide when thing are going bad, I just stop playing poker entirely for a while. I guess you could say I am hiding from playing 75/150 stud in AC by playing 30/60 online...it is tough to keep going there and losing to rich buisnessmen.

I play about everything, but STT's are my bread and butter right now. MTT's have always been good to me, and I have been playing a lot of NLHE ring games lately. I would love to have the roll to play the 30/60 2-7 TD game on UB (and stars is getting draw soon, too, woohoo) since that game is often just incredibly soft. Let's see, I used to play the 6 max games on party and the 15 full game, but I haven't seriously played LHE since probably feb. PLO, plo/8, and o/8 I have played in the past, but not a ton of and not recently.
I'm sort of coming from the opposite direction in that stud games are a refuge to me.

Funny post GreenBag... I've been playing 15/30 LHE. I was fortunate enough to hit a wave of cards. Once I deposit some money in Pacific, I might be seen pushing carlos around in the 30/60 stud gasme on there.
