not glottis?

thx.

[/ QUOTE ]
Glottis covers the opening to the esophagus/trachea when breathing/eating.
Edit: I'm wrong. Epiglottis covers the trachea during eating. Glottis is the opening between the vocal chords.

Ok, I'll play. My guess is hives from an allergic reaction to something. Do we win something if we're right.

I second this diagnosis. Are the spots symmetrical on the left & right sides of your body?

[/ QUOTE ]

Around the waist they are, but not elsewhere. itchiness on left shoulder, right forearm, right hand, left ankle, right behind the knee also.

Call Telehealth Ontario.

Telehealth Ontario

Free Access to a Registered Nurse — 24 Hours a day, 7 days a Week.

1-866-797-0000

But they'll probably tell you to go spend 6 hours at the ER.

Supposing I were to just keep drinking water and taking OTC medication.

Assuming this is just a flu or something small, would this eventually go away, albeit slower and more painfully than with prescription?

Again, assuming it is a minor illness, what are the repercussions? Will it come back again in a month as pneumonia or something?

I am going to the doctor Wednesday

Classic symptoms: spina bifida.

I am a doctor, and the best damn diagnostician I know. Treat yourself accordingly.
