Default 5/10 NL- Decisions Decisions

5/10 NL Online 10 handed

I have 66 in the BB. 3 limpers to me, I check.

Pot: 45ish
Flop: 67Q, 2 hearts

Checked to LP (covers my 1k) who bets 50. Folded to me, I call which is not my usual line.

Pot: 150ish
Turn: 7

I check, he bets 50 again, I raise to 250, he pushes, I?

I was thinking I need to call this, but really I hate calling here. Having a 7 and a heart draw was impossible.

Again, what kind of hands do I beat? Especially what hands do I beat that don't raise preflop?

I think it's an easy call. Q7/77/QQ/76 beat you, he probably raises QQ pf, so that's out. I don't see him pushing with quads, so 77 is out. You only need to fear Q7/76, and he definitely could be pushing with A7/K7/78, maybe a straight+flush draw (9T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]). So yeah, underfulls kinda suck sometimes, but I think you gotta call this.

I call. You think he has exactly 76? There's always donk factor to add in as well with these kind of hands.

This is why I like leading the flop (if not at the very least check-raising the flop). It's much easier to play. Draws and one pair hands are more apt to just call. You'll invariably be raised by two pair or a bigger set on the flop. Then you can put more money in on the flop when you're more sure of your hand. As you played it, he could have easily bet on any pair or any draw. He would also bet any two pair hands as well.

Now on the turn, you're put to a guessing game. You hope he has only a 7 and probably an A7, or 57, 87 or 97 (24 combos). Either that, or you are crushed by 67 (2 combos) or 77 (one combo) or an improbable QQ (3 combos). The other hands that have you crushed now more improbable than the QQ, which is Q7 (6 combos) and Q6 (3 combos). I'd call this, but expect to lose some of the time. However, let this painful decision be a lesson to bet your sets.

I wouldn't worry too much about Q6.

This is an easy call. He could have just about anything here. Most likely, in my book, are some kind of combination hearts draw and A7 or K7.

Most people with boats like to trap, y'know.

This is an insta call. I dont care what the results are. I am sure you lost this hand, that is the reason why you are posting it. It doesnt matter to me, it is still an insta call.
