Try Brother Jimmy's. They use to have one here in Chicago, the ribs were pretty damn good. It was a staple for me and my freinds during football season because on Sundays they had all you could eat ribs and all you could drink drafts for about $20. I think maybe we were the reason they went out of business. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I heard NYC has environmental laws that prohibit the smoking technique required to make good barbeque. Is that true? What kind of wood are these places using?

Just did a little Googling and saw that open pit smokers are illegal in Manhattan. And Blue Smoke has some sort of custom made, high tech gas and apple wood smoker. Whatever that is.
