With the range I mentioned above and the $36 equity when you double up:

20*.62 = 12.4
36*.38 = 13.68
For an equity of $26.08

I think you have much more equity than that if you fold.

Push preflop. It's +$EV unless big stack calls with a huge range.

well...I misread stack levels...
but I still think push first... and I still believe it's a call... I think the range is even bigger and the big stack is purely bullying

You're right, with your range, but if I'm BB, I shove any pair, most aces, some kings, and QJ here, because there's no way I'm giving that much respect to a minraise from someone who looks like he wants to fold, and most people are willing to gamble it with this big stack.

What really sucks is raising 300 the first time around.

POOOOOSH!!!

Ok fine. Put the range at 22+,A5s+,K9s+,QJs,A5o+,K9o+,QJo. Now you're still only 64% to win.

PS- I do agree pushing preflop is the BEST play.

You win, sure. That means BB can resteal with any 2 against sane opponents.

You're right, and I probably need to adjust ITM play.

But there's a point I want to make: Just freaking POOSH AK with <10x BB.

really, i think the range is huge... any good big stack will exploit the fact that you don't want to bust before shortie... i think range is any 2

Actually I lose. I'm an idiot. My calculations for euqity are wrong. I did 20*.62 instead of 20*.38. God I hate stupid mistakes like that. At least I caught myself before you pointed it out, lol.

You're assuming a lot with that statement. Really, I'm pretty sure that most players do not push any 2 in BB's position. Just because you would, doesn't mean everyone would.

But once again, I'm an idiot for making the wrong calculation.
