AK mixing it up (aka PokerFink gets FPS)

Reads: Villian is a donk. Somewhere in the range of 60/15. When he bets the flop I figure him for a mid ace and I'm confident he will bet the turn again.

I know I should have raised a bit more on the turn, but he's likely drawing to just two or three outs depending on whether his kicker is a club or not.

EDIT: Let me also add that:

a) This is not my normal line (duh).
b) Villian will call the river bet with any unimproved ace.

I agree. Given that Hero is the preflop aggressor, checking this flop seems to me like an error, even considering the aggro read we have. If the opponent is aggro as implied, he's just as likely to raise a pot-sized bet on the flop as bet himself if checked to. Of course, if I pot the flop & get raised, I'm pushing.

I think you are leaving too much money on the table here, I see villian calling a tad bit bigger check-raise with a weak A on the turn and making a bigger pot for a much sweeter river value.

why get all fancy against a player who doesn't require it? Thats why i think this is a bad idea. Also, bet more on the river. You say he'll call river bet with an unimproved ace. Well, how large of a river bet will he call?
