Default PS Deep Stack, KK at end of 2nd Hour...

I'd been nothing much but folding due to sheer caca and even when I had marginal hands, there was action ahead of me. After treading water for what seemed like an eternity, I finally pick up a hand.

Vilian was somewhat loose but pretty straight forward.

Comments on all streets welcome, thanks!

Hes not leading out and re-raising with just a flush draw ... so this seems like a WA/WB sitaution. Therefore, I think he made the right play in not raising the turn. On the river, Im checking behind.

Check behind.. already enough money in the pot to make it a nice prize for the winner.. and you definitely don't want to be check-raised out of it on the river.

oops my mistake, i thought it was one of the smooth callers who was raising/leading turn. I probably still raise the turn - if he comes over the top i can get away from this, if he has AA i think there is a good chance he calls/checks river. If he has us beat here most of the time hes firing again on the river i'd expect, so it buys us a freeshowdown, and gets us value from hands we beat. Is this a bad line to take?

Hi,

I like everything you did in this hand leading up towards the river.

On the flop his/her min re raise can often be a set, but with bad players is more likely to be a top pair type hand looking to take the lead and/or be used as one of those "see where I'm at" bets. Either way, I like just calling.

Turn is an auto call. .anyone who advocates raising that turn is crazy. Well done.

On the river I think you definitely need to put in a value bet. I would bet 3,000. You need to bet something that your opponent can jusitify calling b/c he won't be crippled after this hand.

As an aside, if you bet and he were to raise all in (which I don't see happening but maybe 1 in a 1000) you should fold. . .this may be obvious. .I'm sure it is. .

Nice hand and hope it worked out well.

Why is it crazy to raise the turn..

if you're planning on calling the river (or betting it) why wouldn't it be better to raise the turn, since you have position.
Then you can check behidn on the river if you dont like it, or bet again and get some more value.

Only problem is if he pushes w/ the flush draw on the turn.
