I thought there was an old thread with this info in it but I can't find it.

How much table play is required before they will begin comping rooms?

harrah's comp rate is not very good when playing casino table games or live poker. however, they say that they are beginning to make improvements to that department after receiving feedback from customers.

for now, the best way to earn free rooms is by doing short video poker grind sessions during each trip. once you're established in their system, you should be able to find heavily discounted or free room quotes when you book online for off-peak days (generally sunday through thursday, sometimes friday). you'll also probably get at least one postcard a month from them offering something similar via phone reservation.

If you get that "comped" room at Harrah's...don't make any phone calls.....a few phone calls and the taxes, and you are at regular rate [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
