"ugly as sin" is a bit of an overstatement; but there is no way words such as 'beautiful', 'amazingly pretty' or 'gorgeous' will ever be used if i am describing her.

if she were not famous and some random girl out at a bar or on campus, i wouldn't think twice about her. for normal girl, she is not really attractive enough to seriously date.

the fact a lot of people hate her and like to call her ugly as sin is because she isn't pretty enough to be a pop star. the fact she is devoid of any talent only serves to highlight this fact.

this is all in addition to how annoying and terrible her personality came across in her television shows and interviews.
